"True beauty comes from harmony. My goal is to preserve your natural tissue while enhancing your silhouette."

The Preservé Philosophy

His 'Preservé' approach is designed to minimize tissue trauma. Pain levels, recovery pace, and results vary by individual.

By combining artistic vision with precise surgical techniques, he strives to enhance each patient's unique beauty rather than creating a standardized look.

Same-Day Discharge

Most patients go home the same day. Recovery pace, swelling and bruising differ by individual and are reviewed at each follow-up.

Clinical approach

Anatomy Before Aesthetics

Dr. Choi’s approach to breast surgery begins with the patient’s anatomy rather than a standardized image. Consultation considers breast dimensions, existing soft tissue, symmetry, skin envelope, prior surgery, and the patient’s preferences. Those factors guide the discussion of implant selection, surgical plane, incision considerations, and whether a lift, revision, or hybrid fat-transfer discussion is appropriate.

For patients considering Motiva Preservé, the aim is to consider a tissue-preserving approach that can respect native breast structures and chest muscle function. In suitable cases, this may involve subfascial planning. The choice of technique is individualized; it is not a promise that every patient will have the same recovery, scar, or aesthetic result.

Crisalix 3D simulation can be used during planning to make a conversation about proportion and implant choices more tangible. It supports informed communication but does not replace examination or guarantee a surgical outcome. Dr. Choi emphasizes that a sound decision includes an honest discussion of uncertainty, limitations, and the risks inherent in elective surgery.

Continuity of care

One Surgeon, From Consultation to Follow-up

Ryan Plastic Surgery follows a single-surgeon model: Dr. Choi conducts the consultation, performs the surgery, and participates in postoperative review. This continuity allows the plan, operative decision-making, and aftercare guidance to remain connected. It is particularly relevant to international patients who need clear expectations before travelling to Seoul and a practical communication plan after returning home.

The operating environment includes a board-certified anesthesiologist and operating-room CCTV. These established clinic facts are part of a broader emphasis on accountability; they do not remove the need for individualized risk assessment, appropriate consent, or careful adherence to postoperative instructions.

Aftercare may include scheduled clinical review, surgeon-performed ultrasound when clinically indicated, and scar-laser sessions as part of the follow-up protocol. The number and timing of sessions are decided clinically at each visit.

Patient education

A Plan Built Through Informed Discussion

Credentials and case experience provide context, but they do not determine whether an operation is appropriate for an individual patient. Dr. Choi’s consultation process is designed to connect medical history, breast dimensions, existing soft tissue, symmetry, skin quality, prior surgery, and personal goals before a procedure is discussed. This approach allows the patient and surgeon to consider whether an implant, a lift, a revision, a hybrid plan, or no operation is the most appropriate subject for further evaluation.

The ISAPS patient guide to breast augmentation describes how implant position and incision planning can depend on the patient and procedure. The FDA’s breast-implant safety information also explains that implants carry known risks and that additional procedures may be needed in some circumstances. These materials are useful preparation for a consultation, not a substitute for individual medical advice.

When a Motiva implant is part of the conversation, product information such as the manufacturer’s implant overview and current warranty documentation can be reviewed alongside independent safety guidance. A device feature, a simulation image, or another patient’s result cannot predict an individual outcome. The meaningful decision is one that makes uncertainties, trade-offs, recovery planning, and follow-up arrangements clear before surgery.

Topics a consultation may cover

  • Medical history, current medications, and prior breast procedures
  • Measurements, symmetry, skin envelope, and soft-tissue coverage
  • Implant dimensions, profile, possible surgical planes, and incision trade-offs
  • Known risks, recovery restrictions, and when clinical review is needed
  • Follow-up timing, travel planning, and communication after returning home
  • Manufacturer information and the limits of product-warranty coverage

Academic activity

Clinical Experience Shared with Peers

Dr. Choi’s clinical work is accompanied by ongoing academic exchange. At ISAPS 2025 in Singapore, he presented a six-year retrospective analysis of 2,130 breast augmentation cases using ergonomic implants. The presentation is part of a broader effort to discuss technique, case review, and patient selection with peers; it should not be interpreted as a guarantee of outcomes for a future patient.

His recognition as Motiva Global KOL in 2024 and 2025, and his role as Motiva Asia-Pacific Instructor in 2026 reflect continuing engagement with the Motiva breast-surgery community. For patients, the practical value lies in a consultation that connects this experience to their own anatomy and goals—not in a template applied without assessment.

News and updates

All surgical procedures carry risks. Temporary pain, swelling, bruising and bleeding may occur, and infection or inflammatory reactions may occur in rare cases depending on individual health status. Results, recovery time and scar appearance vary by individual. Please follow your surgeon’s instructions before and after treatment and decide only after a full consultation.
