Ryan Plastic Surgery ("we," "our," or "us") operates goodbyeacup.com and provides plastic surgery consultation services. We are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) of Korea and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for European Union visitors.

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal and health-related information that you voluntarily provide when submitting consultation requests, booking appointments, or communicating with us:

• Personal Identification: Full name, email address, phone number, country or region of residence, and preferred contact method (WhatsApp, LINE, WeChat, KakaoTalk, Email).
• Health & Medical Inquiries: Details regarding desired procedures, medical history relevant to consultation, inquiries, and optional reference photographs.
• Technical Data: Standard server logs, browser type, and device information. Cookieless Umami measures aggregate visits by default and does not require consent. Google Analytics 4 is optional and uses Consent Mode v2 for visitors in the EU, UK, and EEA. Neither tool is required for booking or other necessary website functions. We do not intentionally send names, contact details, free-text consultation messages, uploaded files, or health-related inquiry content to either analytics provider.

3. Purpose of Collection and Processing

Your personal data is processed strictly for the following purposes:

• Scheduling, confirming, and managing medical consultations and surgical appointments.
• Providing tailored medical advice, treatment planning, and pre-/post-operative guidance.
• Responding to inquiries and communicating via your preferred messaging channel.
• Improving website functionality and patient experience through aggregated analytics.

4. Retention and Disposal of Personal Data

We retain personal and medical consultation records in accordance with Korean medical law and statutory retention periods. Once the purpose of collection is fulfilled or the retention period expires, data is securely deleted or anonymized. General inquiry records are retained for up to 3 years, while medical records are maintained in accordance with applicable medical regulations.

5. Third-Party Non-Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal or health data to third parties. Information is shared only with authorized medical staff directly involved in your care or trusted technical service providers bound by strict confidentiality agreements.

6. User Rights and GDPR Compliance

Under PIPA and GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal data at any time. You may also object to processing or request data portability. To exercise these rights, please contact our privacy administrator at info@ryanps.com.

7. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookieless Umami to measure aggregate visits by default; it does not require consent. Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is optional and uses Consent Mode v2 for EU, UK, and EEA visitors. Necessary functions continue to work without GA4. We store a GA4 choice, consent version, and timestamp locally for up to 180 days. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are treated as Necessary-only by default. GA4 is configured without Google signals or advertising personalization and is designed to send only non-identifying event parameters. You can withdraw or change your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the site footer, or block/delete analytics cookies in browser settings. You may also install Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
